Oren (Tottenham guitar lessons)

Oren is a freelance session guitarist based in Tottenham who has collaborated with artists across Southampton, London, and Kent, including Maxine Scott (BBC Radio Kent's 'Fresh Find'), Strama and Samuel Ashton.

A guitarist from a young age, Oren's obsession with music grew out of a love for guitarists Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, and Eric Clapton. He developed his playing by performing at live venues and open mic sessions from the age of 14.

His exposure to live music and mentorship from guitarist Robin File (Audioweb) gave his rock, funk, blues, and soul playing a natural style focused on tone, subtlety, time, and space.

At the University of Southampton, he obtained a master's degree in guitar performance, leading an eight-piece band featuring renowned musicians like The Voice finalist Hannah Williams. Here Oren expanded into neo-soul, gospel, and jazz, becoming a versatile session player, arranger, bandleader, and improviser through diverse collaborations.

Oren has fostered connections with the blues community, regularly featuring in significant festivals like Broadstairs Blues Bash, Herne Bay Rocks, and City Sound Project.

Oren teaches rock and pop guitar from beginner to diploma level.
